Hiking
The massif of Low Tatras is 80km long. Among the highest peaks are Ďumbier (2043 m), Chopok (2024 m), Dereše (2004 m), and Kráľova Hoľa (1948 m). These peaks offer beautiful view and during a good weather there is a possibility to see the peaks of High Tatras. Many mountain cottages are situated under the peaks of Low Tatras, among the most popular are M. R. Štefánik cottage under Ďumbier peak and Kamenná cottage under Chopok peak.
